The first contract for the AES100 turboshafts (1000KW) has been signed. The engine will be used for a new, large tilt-rotor UAV (seen in the background of the first image).

yeah certification has done. i have another big news, as per the source AEP-500 will also be ready for certification by the end of this year. MA700 problem solved.

AEP-500 will eventually replace WJ-6 engine in future as the main source of power in PLAAF/PLAN for turboprop planes include KJ-600. WJ-6 is a dead horse now. low cruise speed and fuel consumption is really poor.

WS-17 Minshan engine for trainer aircrafts.

so far i don't have any update regarding this engine progress. but i m trying to get atleast some updates.

in Q4 of 2021, vacuum powder forging technology for turbine disk for small thrust engines have been conquered, which enabled the development of small thrust engines. so most probably we will get some info related WS-17 in this year end.
