It didn't explicitly say I think (still have to read it more carefully), but I would expect it to be a new core. The only news we had of it being otherwise turned out to be a bogus article that predicted the flight of a VTOL fighter in 2013.
To admit I'm a bit sceptical about its reliability !
WA-10G, Item 99M2 - which is in fact AL-31FM-2 - WS-10B-II are simply unlikely since they are either still under development, not existing or for the wrong airplane (WS-10B is for the J-10B with the lower gearbox and not for the J-11B/-15/-16) ... as such I'm more than seceptical.

Looks like an F-22 tvc nozzle to me.
I mean that's ok if they borrowed that concept. Like AF Brat said, all jet fighters around the world borrowed ideas, concepts, and design from each other.

I have my doubts about its credibility. The table reminds me of a very unreliable fanboy, who used to list his fantasy predications in tables of the same fonts and color scheme, which oddly included a photo of a German Wound Badge.

I think that production of AL-31F (original engine for su-27) has stopped. Overall, production of all AL-31 versions is almost certainly higher, considering the number of aircraft that use them all over the world.
