Chinese Economics Thread

Well after all, racial reasons behind it. Both China and Japan are considered non-white, thus non-aryan, let alone anglophone. This makes those two nation 3rd ranked (1. Anglos, 2. other 'whites', next being all other races ordered by skin color, with E Asians being basically white in skin tone, still considered yellow?!). A non-white, nation surpassing whites is a fundamental threat of existence to the white supremacists (Even if not actively thinking this way, almost all whites have a (sub)concious superiority complex).

Therefore I don't think they want China, even as a puppet become stronger than themselves. Since Japan they became alot more paranoia about non-whites surpassing them.

Look at the Japan-bashing era of the 1980s, when the US thought it was going to be left in the dust by Japan.
Japan was a democracy and the US had a far larger population. So realistically, the odds of the US being left behind were pretty low AND even if it was, was the resulting situation really going to be that bad?

Yet it quickly turned into a racial attacks on Japan and anything that looked Japanese.
More recently, look at the race-baiting involved with Obama and Trump.

So it's only going to get far worse in the coming years as China continues to grow faster and that is converted into economic, technological and military influence

Bs. China actually generates X times more value for these countries. Their mistake was all that money was siphoned by the oligarchs.

China generated so much wealth for the West that if they were smart, the people living in the West would all be rich

For every $1 that China got, the West got $10

This is why the Oligarch controlled press needs to raise China as an enemy. Otherwise all the anger would be (rightfully) directed at them.

Translation: we no longer will have hegemonic control and that scares the hell out of us.
I found this comment under that article very interesting:

"What do posters think of the curious rumour that China will announce, on the opening day of the Winter Olympics, that it will back the new digital Renminbi with Gold?
Proponents of the claim suggest that China has been quietly corning the physical market for over 30 years. Also, private gold ownership in China is believed to be in the region of 25-30K tons.

Would this gold backed DC, have the effect of relieving the US dollar of its status as the major reserve currency, and affecting one of the worlds most dramatic transfers of wealth from West to East in a few weeks time?"

During height of cold war 1.0 no one disputed USSR was a sovereign even though its GDP was that of California, it had enough nukes and was technologically independant from the West/US...

Your definition of "fully sovereign" equates to top global hegemon with reserve currency status. If China economy grew larger than US and EU combined, then by definition it would already be defacto global hegemon with reserve currency status.... while that would certainly mean its "fully sovereign", the aforementioned label is a far lower threshold than what you seem to be misconstruing it to mean or to be.

The US economy itself is not greater than US+EU, so by your own definition the US is not fully soveriegn... but yet you count the underling of EU...

Then by that logic China can start tallying up its BRI partners as well...
Oh yes my man i couldn't agree with you more. China has a big advantage right now because of the 1:6 ratio of Dollar to RMB. It's funny as capitalist mathematics reach their logical limits. The global reserve status of dollar gives Fed the "legal" approval to print value indefinately forgetting that money is all about production. They cannot even manage this "wealth". So we observe high inflation and the US distribution system stuck because of the spare "wealth", this BRRR value printing created. Numbers are great but real economy sucks. Chinas excessive productivity made the US system to short-circuit LOL

Come on guys we have been discussing the American evil to death. The question is what are you going to do with it . Sofar China didn't do anything to signal their resolve. They should just quit trying to win applause from the west by building circus Olympic this or Olympic that. What is the use other than wasting money. When those money is better spent building nuclear bomb, fighter jet, more submarine etc. Jack up the defense spending to 2 to 2.5% of GDP and start the war economy. The west only respect raw power and you just have to show it . Not being nice . like they say nice guy finish last or Nice guy didn't get the girl!. It is willy nilly CCP cause lost of respect

We all what the west want from China to become sweat shop and creditor so that the west can enjoy high living standard without doing anything while they spend on military like crazy.
