We all what the west want from China to become sweat shop and creditor so that the west can enjoy high living standard without doing anything while they spend on military like crazy.

Why can't they make India or Africa their sweat shop and continue living their high standards ? Must it be China?

Olympics is a global humanity symbol why hand it to them like a prize? Olympics are a great and rare opportunity for a nation's capital or big city to refine itself, redefine itself and invest focusing on common developement. We want more Olympics! And keep in mind that current turbulence like evergrande collapse, Jack Ma's haircut and widespread corruption is because of too much capitalism. Profound in this forum, military build-up is as fast as possible given the situation. Cool off Mate

Don't mind @Hendrik_2000 he's a keyboard commando and I for one am sick and tired of that guy's incessant whining and sick demand of war for China to undertake. It shows how that dude has likely been bullied, and a weak willed individual who yearns revenge to those whom he perceived to have wronged him in his life.

I don't see it happening.

There physically isn't enough gold to do it.

Plus then you get GOLD-Digital RMB arbitrage happening, so your exchange rate is determined by the price of gold, rather than from policy

I was never been bullied in my life, I live very comfortable life. but I hate the weakness shown by CCP instead of talking about it why not do something about it! I am tired Beijing issuing threat but never follow thru with that threat! And the west keep piling pressure after pressure. In other word bullying China with no response

The answer is outgrow it and not start fights prematurely while the US is still the world's most powerful country. There's a reason that America didn't go to actual war with the Soviets when the Soviet were on their last lifelines.

That is not weakness in someone else; that is stupidity in yourself and your inability to strategize. If the CCP is so weak, then stop trying to use thier power to do your dirty deeds. True weakness is a maniacal fantasy of wielding power that is not yours to do things you cannot do with your own power. Go find a country you deem strong and apply for citizenship.

You mean the West throwing the kitchen sink at China only to watch in horror as China continues to outgrow it, just like how all sane people here see it.
