"If China doesn't need US movies, Hollywood studios will have to dramatically reduce their spending on big budget blockbusters." Well, that could be a good thing. Hollywood should stop producing only superhero movies.

Chinese moviegoers also love watching Chinese movies, and it can't be helped.

Not just a coincidence but the highest risk of transmitting airbone diseases. Even before Covid, flu (which is also a coronavirus) is maximum in spring because of mass migration around Chinese new year. It was the the primary reason why was Wuhan was shutdown last year before the Chinese new year.

I think a good way to make up for these people is to pay them high wages if they work during the vacation. Like 2-3x. Make the West pay for it.

This ungrateful non-Chinese world doesn't realize how much Chinese contributes to their standard of living.

Apple is booming in China. Huawei cannot even sell cellphones in America and is now even losing marketshare on the home market. China for reasons that are not known has done nothing to hit back against the maiming of Huawei. All in all this has emboldened US hawks. Yeah, let American companies like Apple bloom in China while your own companies are not allowed to compete abroad and worse are even maimed. No, this is bad news.

It is envy.

Any country that accompanies US incursions on China should be free game.

Australia, Japan, SK, Vietnam, india... all their lands should be free game if they decide to do bullshit.
