Not too long ago, there was no helmet or seat-belt required in Cambodia but today if I ride or drive with helmet or seat-belt, I just feel strange like lacking something (others don't think so. more than 50% of Cambodia riders don't have helmet). According to a study in Vietnam, up to 70% of motorcycle accident fatality are due to head injury. So, the helmet law there is very strict, and you can see up 99% of Vietnamese riders have helmet. However, it's useless. Helmets made-in-Vietnam are as thin as paper. They crack if you drop them from about 1 meter (3 feet). The way they wear helmets just look funny to me.
