Chinese construction companies have been hard at work through many nations in Africa building highway systems over the last several years. A tremendous amount of investment is being made by nations like Kenya, Nigeria, and Ethiopia in infrastructure projects and they are hiring Chinese companies to do a lot of the construction.

These include cross-country super highways as well as urban highway systems.

It would be awesome to see before and after pictures. Regardless of the politics I am glad Africa is getting some seriously needed infrastucture in there. A very tiny amount of countries aside Africa has been pretty much left out from modernization due to tribal conflicts, wars different ideologues and exploitation by both private and non private entities.

I know over here in America and else where in the more developed world a lot of us tend to take our infrastructure for granted. Glad to see Africa is developing fast for their own sake.
