I post most of these photos in another thread at SSC....skyscrapercity. Yesterday I got a complaint;
and...
The reason I post them is because there's very little hard news coming out of China. Very little. Most of the photos are of agriculture, dignitaries, school children, job fairs, trade shows, conferences, pretty girls etc...etc. There are sometimes more horrific photos on sina.cn. I avoid posting those.

Popeye, can You please not post death scenes from roads? Knowing that is happens is bad enough, but looking at this really doesn't one's day...
and...
It's not just dead bodies, but these traffic tragic scenes in general. They do happen every day, we all know about it even without such photos. And it doesn't offend me at all. I just think there might be some other photos from daily life that will at least not bring one's spirits down so much, that's all.

03.24.2014 Beijing...A post entitled "Beijing's most elite underground garage", highlighting the luxurious cars at the Beijing Yintai Centre has recently gained attention online. The underground garage at Beijing's Yintai Centre is home to a large number of Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Among the high-end cars at the garage are two Pagani Zonda; only 5 of these models have ever been produced and they are valued about 60 million yuan, or 9.6 million US dollars. The article notes that in the midst of such vehicles, premium models such as BMWs and Porsches may easily to go unnoticed. [Photo: people.com.cn]
