And I accidentally found this: Equation, would you be kind enough to take her home, so that she won't have to beg along the streets.

Im sure the buskers will be horrified at you for referring to them as beggars.
The way the earn money are really similar. People from Vietnam and Cambodia usually aren't familiar with the term "busker", they're not much different. Look at a few buskers in Vietnam as below:
A genuine beggar will say thank you, should you give him something, a busker will give you a migraine irrespective on you giving him something
On one occasion I was walking along central downtown Auckland and came across an elderly mainland Chinese busker playing his erhu. I cant say I enjoyed the music as it sounds rather strange to me but I gave him a few coins anyway I came across him the next day in a Suburb at least 20 miles from where I first saw him, sitting there playing his erhu .. boy he gets around for a old fella.
Ya' know.. you fellows that can't read Chinese could do popeye a favor by doing a basic translation on these Chinese caption..most times the google translation make no sense..Thank you.
Here in America we call them street artist or street performers. These guys moved around a lot in various hot spots around the city. They go where the crowds would be at (especially in Houston where the car is king) in ball games, music out door gatherings, and such.
well shit, this is my home town...
