I'm really glad the lady was rescued safely however that is NOT the correct way to rescue someone who had fallen into an icy pond etc. You don't do a human chain like that standing or kneeling like these brave gentlemen.. what you do is you lay down on the ice so you evenly spread all your weight out across a much larger area and do like a commando crawl towards the victim. Use a rope if you have one for sure. Those guys are asking for trouble..if the ice cracks guess what? all those rescuers will now need rescuing!

eTdnGCZ.jpg

True, but look how shallow the water is (waist deep at least). The human chain is good for this instead of having to wait for emergency crew to arrive (4 to 5 minutes). Now if the water is 4 meters deep or more, yeah it's time to do the commando crawl and rope technique and call in emergency as well, the victims would be near hypothermia by than.

BTW that lady is very pretty! are they checking her teeth to make sure they are straight? I'll give her an A for sure.

I think it's the showing the max teeth technique. Their smiles can't be either too big or too small, but just enough to convey professionalism and courtesy to the passengers.

Ohh..don't tease me gentlemen.

s1NQKg2.jpg

So according to the article those 3 students that fell into the icy water just walked away after being rescued? Shouldn't they be taking out of their wet clothes and put on some blankets or get into some one's car and turn on the heater? That is hypothermia weather right there.

I think the article said "The villagers walk away quietly" not the students which means that the villagers just mean to rescue the victims, after the rescue they leave without wanting to be well-known or any type of repay. They are good guys!

This is so sad. Well it looks like it said something about the child coming into the hospital with a "fever" but was diagnosed as fever or bronchial pneumonia and mycoplasma infections. I believe she was given the wrong injection or medication that the grandmother has been complaining to the doctor about? As a result the child died. Sorry my Chinese sux, perhaps someone can interpret it better than I can.:(
