from the New York Times;
“It’s a brand-new chapter in my life, and so I’m excited to get this thing going,” Lin said after the Rockets defeated the Detroit Pistons, 105-96. “And hopefully, if we keep this up, it’s going to be a really fun season.”

“This was the best my body has felt in a while, a few months,” he said. “I’m glad I got that first one out of the way. I know what to expect, and how my body’s going to respond.”

Hey Popeye, what's wrong with your Lakers (0-2)? I haven't seen any of their games to see what's the problem, do you know? Is Dewight Howard still hurt? Anyway, it's a long season, they'll be fine.

Dunno. It's only two games..they will play 82.. On ESPN sports talk radio last night it was mentioned that the Lakers have many new players to fit in and a coach in his second year with the Lakers. It will take a little time for everything to melt together. I predict 50-60 wins for the Lakers this season. Don't be surprised if they still have a losing record at the New Year.

A window handle on the door at the back seat is seen removed in a taxi in Beijing Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. Beijing is tightening security as its all-important Communist Party congress approaches, and some of the measures seem bizarre. Not only have taxi drivers removed the window handles from their doors, but their passengers must sign agreements promising to keep their windows and doors locked. Most of the security measures were implemented in time for Thursday's opening of a meeting of the Central Committee. (AP Photo/Andy Wong)
