Pretty much. Good teams will know how to adjust to the flow of the game (whether how the officials are calling fouls and how rough the opponent teams are) and exploit the strength and weaknesses of the opposing team.

You mean like this?.

"It had been billed as a friendly exhibition game in basketball-crazy Beijing, between the Georgetown University Hoyas from Washington, D.C., and the Chinese Army's Bayi Rockets. But after some blatantly biased Chinese refereeing and unashamedly aggressive play by Bayi, it ended in a bench-clearing brawl, with Chinese fans in the Olympic stadium throwing chairs and bottles of water at the Americans.";)

I wont post the link because the writer uses the games proceedings as a metaphor for a political rant.

By the way ive been wondering about those photoes popeyes posted.
Is it the girl or the the subject matter that gets your seal of approval:D

Lol...how funny I read that same article too! You're right the author does has a political rant to it, but then again ALL writings including literature, short stories, essays, and so forth are naturally bias as my English professor told to my class and it's he right. That's why I take everything and anything I read with a grain of salt.

As for the good team concept I was thinking more in the line of the NBA San Antonio Spurs during their championship run and the LA Lakers during Magic Johnson era. Those teams adjust so well to the flow of the game.

Thank you!

As for basketball, the Lakers under Shaq and Kobe in 2000, 2001 & '02 played great basketball. Of course the lakers with Magic, Kareem, Cooper, Worthy were my favorite NBA team of all time.

You're welcome!

Hell yeah those Magic Johnson Lakers team were better than any of the Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls team, even my beloved 1994-95 Rockets team.
