I must admit, I'm surprised since there have been no recent news about the MA700 and the last news was a report concerning issues due to the lack of engines!

Covid lockdowns in Pudong Shanghai with gov policy insisting on heavy handed lockdowns. Supply chain still disrupted by various outbreaks and lockdowns in other parts of China. It's really been just a string of lockdowns. But if not for lockdowns, it would be overwhelming healthcare. China is mostly aging people and elderly.

AC332 airframe 001 has rolled off the assembly line. It will be used as a static test airframe. Two additional airframes are being assembled, which will be used for flight testing.
Since when did it have a Fenestron tail?

I think you are mixing up with AC-352? AC-332 has just got their 001 iron bird airframe out.
