Well, he still work at COMAC but is leaving soon...
Tbh that wouldn’t surprise me. This initiative will live or die on the quality of management, but the people running the show know that. Chinese management culture is better than where it was five years ago but needs to get better still to be globally competitive.
He *claims* he works at COMAC. Even if we take his story at face value, he's obviously disgruntled and has an agenda against his former employer.
They don't even try to be sly, do they? Btw, this person is just a few letters and changes away from insinuating that the issue is because of race/ethnicity.
Comac will survive. Because Comac is a necessity, has no competition and is evermore appealing in the context of a changing geopolitical landscape. Disgruntled engineers (if they exist) may leave.

China-made CBJ business jet takes off at Air Show
A Chinese business jet developed by a Shanghai-based aircraft manufacturer took its maiden flight at an international air show on Tuesday.The CBJ business jet, based on the ARJ21, known as China's first self-developed regional jet, demonstrated its takeoff, landing and flying processes at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China.
The ARJ21 has been servicing over 90 cities with 220 routes. This aircraft type has transported over 3.4 million passengers. Flying tests are running smoothly for six prototypes of the C919 single-aisle aircraft.
