I need again some help with a translation ... is this just a very enthusiastic crew member or can he be interpret as a hint, that the Y-20B has entered service?

To know more (aircraft) types - Take note that he did not specify which aircraft, so it could be Y20 other others.

Please pay attention (or follow up) to third season of "Wait in Vein" video series on

"New aircraft which are “Can't be Told"". i.e. Not supposed to be let known.

That's my point ans even if the video itself only shows standard Y-20A transports, these words "New aircraft which are “Can't be Told"". i.e. Not supposed to be let known." are IMO maybe a hint ...

I don't know why we need a hint lol

Everyone knows that Y-20B is on the cusp of entering service if not already entered service. It's probably more useful to us if we ignore these kind of useless, vague "hints". It's just a waste of time, unless there is actually specific information being conveyed.

Right now the next useful milestone we should wait for is Y-20B in service colours at a frontline unit; everything below that is only marginally interesting at best but realistically not too useful.

Is it true China is developing the Y-40 Super Kunpeng transporter capable of 150 tons payload?

Apart from claims by at least one PLA watcher from years ago and some indications/ideas floated by official sources, at present we have no solid idea.

Personally speaking, though - A Chinese counterpart to the C-5M would be more likely than a Chinese counterpart to the An-124.

It is not impossible once CJ-2000 engine is available. Something to happen next decade.

China used to have close connections with Antonov in Ukraine. Antonov helped with designing the wing of the ARJ21 and the airframe of the Y-20. Chinese investors were also interested in producing the An-225 in China at one point.

Russia has a production facility for the An-124 at Aviastar which can make everything but the D-18T engines. It is where Russia maintain their own An-124s. Russia also is developing the Slon aka Elephant aka PAK VTA heavy transport aircraft but they don't have the PD-35 engines for it either.
