Because CMPR, at least the public version, is a report with poor timeliness and accuracy. They rely on X, Weibo, and this forum for OSINT
this is very good point. The Shilao folks completely trashed the report recently. These public ones are just to give people a sense of where things are at. And it's done in a very lazy manner. I wouldn't take everything it says as up to date.

yesterday and Xi Yazhou made a point of discussing GJ-11 being used as a refueling drone. Now, I don't think that will necessary happen.

But I think that as we think about missions further away from protected air space, they will need LO signature refueling drones. Think about the scenario of 6th gen leading a bunch of drones to attack targets 3000 km away. Can a group of drones refuel them once they get to a few hundred km away from when they'd like to attack and then top off 6th gen aircraft & other drones? I would think that's a scenario that's in the cards. So, curious to see when such a drone might come out.
