Let's get back on topic, this isn't a thread about helicopters or russian engines
China should build large turboprops cargo aircrafts capable of takeoff and landing on rough runways.
These aircrafts should've semi-retractable undercarriage to lower it's production cost per unit.

Is it me or doesn't 6 look PSed? Also if it is correct, would that mean at least minimum 25 in service?

Back to this question ... Yesterday some new YY-20As were posted but if you look closely, the nos. 20740 & 20645 are almost identical?

In fact, if you look closely, they are not 100% the same - shadow & colour on the tail and the small red light - but I still have some doubts, if legit or faked?

Looking back, I think it is because they were photographed at same angle in very close succession. If you look at the shadows under engine,it is marginally shifted which means different times. Also tires are different too.

this would indicate to me that all of 50 to 99 are going to be tankers.

And based on the rate at which they are adding tankers into service, maybe we will get there in a year or two.

Do we know if the previous 81 to 9x units have been re-numbered or these are brand new ones?
