consider China's problem with ARJ passenger aircraft.it will took another 3 ~4 years for Y-20 to enter service.
but again, that will depend on the level the technical assisstance from antonov.

There are different types of metals. Even for one type of metal, there can be different grades with different properties. There would be nothing strange if it is metal underneath both green and yellow primers.

As an example, there are both yellow and green primers on the Airbus A330/A340 before all the paint. As far as I know, the aircraft have an all-metal fuselage.

while looking for the composite materials being employed on the A330/A340. There is no use of composite on the fuselage skin even though both green and yellow primers are used.

Once again congrats on the first flight. I think the transparency behind the J-15 and Y-20 first flights is simply astonishing.

The inboard flaps for the inboard flaps are divided into three pieces instead of typical two pieces. The design is peculiar and I wonder why the engineers did it that way.

The flaps, and the two parts rudder, are designed to be able to fly very slow thus to be able to make use of short runways.
The problem with the engines is not their noise, but the fact that their thrust is too low and their fuel consumption too high.
I know little about actually building aircraft but I suppose you might provide different aluminum alloy sheets, different alloys and/or thicknesses, with different color coatings to minimize mistakes in production.
The fiber reinforced plastic is unlikely to contain polyester resin. That was one of the first resins to be used in the '40's and '50's. A part was then sometimes hardened by exposing it to the UV light of the Sun. Epoxy resins came next and by now there are many others, some able to withstand pretty high temperatures.
