You know how China's space program is actually doing well?

Its because nobody cares when these things launch now. Its routine. The long march launches every other week. Galactic Energy has sent so many rockets to space it's just another procedure to them at this point.

I guess the next step is being able to have cheap reusable rockets that are launched in such large amounts that a rocket taking off is considered no different than a plane taking off at an airport.

True. Do you think they will be able to finally reach the targeted 100 launches this year?
They need to really up launch frequency like Space. Hopefully the leo constellations will boost this sector to a constant 100+ launches every year. I think for this to happen, private space companies will need to really up their game. Since the Sstate owned players are the ones who have been doing all the heavy lifting so far. Apart from Galaxy energy who has launched a it more frequently the others have been rather slow.

Based on last few pages of discussion, satellite production is also hitting bottlenecks. Having more launches will not help if there's nothing to send up. The industry is still growing, it will take time.

I think they can't carry on like this. They have to change something. Its only a matter of time before one of this hits a residential property or building and kills people. Better start now before it's too late.
Unfortunately they can only minimize the risk by using parachutes/gridfins on boosters. Inland sites are inherently problematic compared to coastal sites but there are strategic reasons to keep them.
