Firstly I must correct you, you suspect that open field is the launch pad, not it is.

Secondely, I highly doubt that the 3000sqm in the table refers to the open field next to the factory. Would you launch your rocket next to your factory building? Most people won't. And other people won't allow it.

BTW, when I said the launch pad is out in the sea, I was quoting local news report <钱江晚报> whose reporter acquired this infor during the opening ceremony of the program.

An update on AZSpace, also known as Ziwei Technology (紫微科技). The company's technology verification cargo spacecraft Dier-1 (迪迩一号) has been transferred to the Jiuquan launch center. The launch will be carried out by a Hyperbola-1 rocket from i-Space/Space Honor/Interstellar Glory.

We probably won't see any movement in the near future. The Xiangshan LC project has been freezed for almost 2.5 years. Formar governor of Zhejiang province had a space industry background and was chief commander of Shenzhou mission 2-5. The Xiangshan LC was even freezed under his watch and now he is transferred to Chongqing. There is not much time left for the LC till 2025, the end of 14th 5 years plan of Zhejiang Province.
