Four Filipino armchair generals discuss how China is no match against the US in the Pacific. This is pretty much the general attitude of most Filipinos when it comes to China, they think the invincible US forces will come to their rescue and smash China with little effort, I fear the PH is in for a rude awakening

These clowns are going to be in for the rudest awakening.

These clowns are discussing world war 3, saying how US will fight along with Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Aus, Ph at the same time. But they have no clue how US has absolutely no desire to fight world war 3 with China for Philippines.

But on a serious note, China should think if they have to fight WW3 against US and its allies, how they can win when US and allies still have more ships and fighter jets. China is still taking things too lightly with such a low defense spending compard to GDP. They will have boost their rate of advancement much more if they want to prevent US and allies to essentially force China to fight while its full potential has not been unleashed yet. PH or Taiwan are like traps to force China to fight early.

Chinese forces did not return firearms seized from Philippine troops

Palawan News’ trusted source stated that Filipino troops on the resupply mission exercised utmost restraint thereby preventing a hostile confrontation when Chinese forces boarded their vessel, became physically aggressive, and took their guns.
He said this happened despite Chinese soldiers striking Filipino troops, pointing fingers at them, scolding and yelling, and brandishing a bolo.

The source claimed that Filipino soldiers tried to negotiate the return of the firearms, but the Chinese forces refused, taking the guns away after storing them in a single bag.

On Monday, Chinese forces intercepted and thwarted a Philippine effort to deliver supplies to the BRP Sierra Madre outpost in Ayungin Shoal. They overpowered the rubber boat operated by the Filipino soldiers and seized their firearms

This surprises me. I've seen many Indian kids who are high achievers; they are just short of hanging with the Chinese whizzes at math, physics, chemistry but they can make up for lost ground in English, history, and even STEM classes like biology. But I have NEVER seen a high-achieving Filipino. Every time I see a Filipino kid, he is sitting there like a lump on a log, 25 minutes into an long hour exam going, "I can start to maths now?"
Indian immigrants are the best and brightest from India, most likely from high caste families, so there is some sample bias in overseas countries.

I looked through their CIA-infested subbredit r/Philippines and the delusion, anger and desperation in that thread is amazing to witness. For sure it will be studied by future Chinese psychologists as part of their university studies

Some were calling for triggering the mutual defence treat with the US, some were calling for "do what Vietnam does to them", or others were like "It's a trap! Don't shoot first, China is intentionally provoking us", and (that was extremely funny tbh) "European ships are coming to help us. Also ICJ!!"

One of the previous posts with that table showing the average IQ score of Philippines seems quite accurate from what I read online
"do what Vietnam does to them"

Duterte actually did that - sign trade and infrastructure deals for the mutual benefit of both countries.

“Our soldiers were dragged—they treated our soldiers very aggressively. Terrible restraint was exercised by the troops so that there would be no trouble there. But they were really aggressive, and we—we didn't fight back," the source added.

He said this happened despite Chinese soldiers striking Filipino troops, pointing fingers at them, scolding and yelling, and brandishing a bolo.

"They were pointed at, beaten, and the brain, it's up to us which of our soldiers will be hit. Our soldiers are very restrained," the source described.

The source claimed that Filipino soldiers tried to negotiate the return of the firearms, but the Chinese forces refused, taking the guns away after storing them in a single bag.

This is so embarrassing lmao, NAVSOG (Philippine special forces) got beat up by Chinese Coast Guard and was too scared to fight back. Not sure how you lose a finger from getting beat up though
