This is so embarrassing lmao, NAVSOG (Philippine special forces) got beat up by Chinese Coast Guard and was too scared to fight back. Not sure how you lose a finger from getting beat up though

If you read their overly proud posts, they think that the Chinese are subhuman weaklings and they are the superior race in Asia. I remember in the last decade, they would actually invite non professional MMA fighters from China to compete against their local Champions to back up this claim.

I wonder what instructions/ROE AFP gave to the captured personnel, was it play bumper boats, record with your phone or actually shoot if attacked and they didn't actually carry it out?

There is none, it shows that the politician are running the show not the military. Navy SEALS are special units use for infiltration, intelligence gathering and to sabotage the enemy infrastructure NOT for Kabuki show. The embarrassing thing is those SEALS had been train and conduct joint exercise with the US under the Balikatan. It means the US are not use too or doesn't have a plan to counter the Chinese asymmetric warfare.
