HIMAR training in Palawan, PH

Former Supreme Court justice of the PH urging his gov't to challenge and question China's coast guard law.

A lively debate between CHINA and PH rep regarding their positions on the SCS dispute.

This HIMAR which belongs to the US military is just a childish show of force but are completely useless against China in a SCS war scenario.
Does not impressed anybody.
The PLA is smirking and is simply perplexed at how disorganized and confusing the joint military exercise is.
Bingbong looked pleased but what did he achieved beside the irk and deeper distrust of China.
No Chinese official send Blinken off during his recent trip.
If Bingbong were to visit China, it will be worse.
No Chinese official will be there to receive him.

Those US equipment are there for show, if the US are serious they should have taught us how to used it and given to us. Like my previous post the American don't trust us, they thought we're monkeys that aren't capable of operating those so called sophisticated machine.

There you have it bro, the Philippine surrender, just like the arbitration result it's just a pieces of paper with NO Value. Carpio want to stay relevant, nobody listen to him cause we know that he is a influence peddler. His performance record in the Supreme Court are laughable, he clearly sold his soul to the oligarch.

My observation.
When Deterte was the President, all these were peacefully settled and there was no issues with food supplies to the Filipino troops hiding inside Sierra Madre.
All of the sudden, it blew up and China CG vessels which were always around are aiming their water cannons at Filipino CG vessels at Re'nai.
And US is firing their HIMARS...
There is no question about the ownership and sovereignty of Re'nai as they are all recorded inside the archives of France, UK and even USA. It belongs to China.
It is obvious who wanted to steal these islands, can't be Philippines as they meant nothing to them strategically.

To justify American presence you need to create a crisis, you need to connect the dot, Philippine is task to make a scene to rally local support, BUT it backfire as the promise support coming from the US doesn't justify the sacrifice we're making. So they need to put up a good show (Balikatan) to convince us that the American are there to support us and Marcos did the right thing. But the proof of the pudding is in the eating, Marcos had little to show for in his 2 years in office, so like his family nemesis the Aquinos had done, he wave the flag of nationalism to cover up his incompetency.

1, HIMARS launchers are also PRsM and ATACAMS launchers. It means targeting ships and island bases nearby from rather annoying survivable and cheap launchers.

2, no one here wants talking about it, but "fortress Philippines" isn't exactly a new US play. The way to solve hostile ground forces is ground forces.
And in this case, HIMARS will perfectly work with their primary six-packs.

Here is a cheap solution. Design an unmanned ship drone equipped with HIMARS missiles. If you can pack 100 missiles into a ship drone, it is pretty much unstoppable.

Another cheap fix is China can develop a land based HIMARS automation or remote controlled which doesnt require crews to operate on the battlefield.

Not unless Philippines wants to escalate the war to the Philippines main islands.
What if China despatched the Rapid Deployment Troops to neutralize these target?
With their limited range they are easy target for China military once..
FYI Re'nai is 600km away.

(1)Well, since they're there, you're essentially assuming they're going to fire.
(2)Yes. But it isn't rapid deployment troops, it's a massive invasion of a huge nation. Philippines are big.
(3)there are closer targets. And per what's known, at least for ATACAMS Americans are widely assumed to be lying about its max range.
