I have absolutely no relations to the Philippines, you're thinking of someone else. When did China "lie" per your accusations on your post? You're postings are becoming a little too jingoistic and short on actual substance to be blunt with you. Actions of no return are of grave consequences that can never be dialed back like a switch. I don't know why you're so fixated on this particular issue that you desperately want China to punish the Philippines.
Don't you live in the Philippines and ergo your family businesses as well as your loved ones live there? How's the escalation of violence going to help the Chinese community in the Philippines if any members of the Philippine Navy gets hurt? Then it'll definitely stoke up the emotional nationalistic fervor of the Filipinos that will make it impossible for the current PRO-AMERICA government not to intercede and make a hay in the international media, with the help and guiding hand of the collective west.
I'm posting cause China is just releasing tough words as usual and doing absolutely nothing of substance. What good is posing with 7 large coast guard/fishing vessel if the Philippines are still going to resupply their boat with food and most likely construction material. From this incident, more countries might learn the wrong lessons and think China is a paper tiger.
From the Chinese statements, one would be inclined to think the Chinese coast guard were successful or something, which objectively speaking isn't true, unless China's objective is to look tough for photo-ops.On Sep. 8th, China and the Philippines respectively issued statements on the latest "resupply" incident at Second Thomas Shoal that day.
