One of the most poignant and accurate analogies I have come across in my life.
This pretty much sums up American Policy. Very disappointed in President Obama. He promised to reset and balance American Policy but came out way way short.
Well, I can't wait for the time when China finally is going to give Senkaku Moles Chinese passports and finally have a good reason to take over those islands which were controled by Chinese moles for thousands of years. Then someone like plawolf can say 'Senkaku mole is Ryukyu mole!!!' and grab the entire 'first island chain' with that tactics!
After all China is well respected for it's environmental protection efforts so that move would be respected by anyone around the world for sure, even Japan.
I think compared to whaling for scientific research or handling of nuclear disaster China still got a long way to go.
I supposed you also believe the dolphins at Hatajiri Bay have Chinese passports. This will explain the annual government-sanctioned reenactment of events in December 1937.

I agree with the Chinese move, they should start putting rigs and drilling if there are oils to sea that they control. Lotsa nation doing that, and it is normal to do so.

Next step declare ADIZ over to the zone for control. It is very clear the US internal intelligence community are instigating the region for China encirclement and China need to react before too late and upgrade their defenses around the area. Need a war plan because some area are very hostile.

True, but there's a difference between 'exploring' for oil and gas and 'drilling' for oil and gas.
It's within their right as within China EEZ, if principle of equidistance is used the rig is still near their island.
A very dangerous action by Vietnam that can lead to miscalculation.

The conflict began on May 2 in China's territorial waters when state-run China National Offshore Oil Corp placed a large deep-sea oil rig in a location only 31 km away from Zhongjian Island, a part of China's Xisha Islands. China said Hanoi then sent armed ships to ram Chinese vessels near the rig.
