What are they talking about? We've always been in the "Might is Right" era, just look at the middle east. It's just China's might they're not accustomed to, yet.
The truth is Chinese national characteristic is way less aggressive compared to the west, the history of Asia would have been way different if this wasn't the case. Chinese believe in "中庸之道“, the way of the middle, you respect me I respect you that kind of thing.
If countries are willing to talk in good faith then there is no reason they can't work out a deal with China that accommodate both sides, as many SEA countries are finding out. However there're countries that are greedy and expect the US to bully China for them, those countries are in for a rude awakening, maybe they'll find out what "Might is Right" really looks like
It's entirely possible that they're not. After a PH outlet first leaked that "communique" between China/Malaysia a while back, it would be safe to assume that the Manila stooges take part in (or at least hosts) US influence ops. My advise is to regard their origins with suspicion.
It's a short leap after all from online content moderation offices to shilling for glowie agencies.
Per experience, it's probably just another American intel cell masquerading as a Vietnamese or any of the subcontracted troll farms from the Philippines or India pretending as such.
