China's SCS Strategy Thread

Type 22 seems pretty good at doing the LCS job. Aluminium hull is a pain to maintain though isn't it? Do ships that need to fit into this role (high speed littoral combat) necessarily need aluminium hull?

The Freedom LCS has a semiplaning steel hull with aluminium superstructure. It can also achieve top speeds that are way above 40 knots.

More like, China copied Vietnam's island reclamation building as it was the latter that started doing this sort of thing before China.

@tonyget I don't know what your deal is, but for a learned person and I assume to be of Chinese heritage of a non-Falun Gong, anti-See See Pee, anti-frog/1450 variety...you ought to have been informed about this important matter as to avoid being tagged as a subtle anti-China disruptor, and not a very good one at that I might add.

You have been on this forum for eons, and to this day, your information or lack thereof about China's system, progress, and achievements seem to have passed over your head.

I thought smart and rationale people would welcome facts that would make obsolete and even incorrect views to be corrected. Instead, it seems you have become quite intransigent.
