Yeah...no. That is not how SAR works. Especially in an area where you claim SAR rights in the first place.
The PCG personnel in this photo seem to be quite hostile to the injured Filipino fishermen. I wonder why.
China's media game is getting better, the filipinos probably need anti drone tech to continue lying about China's action.

Jay Tarriela's lie has been exposed by evidence and he should either retract and apologize for raising tension or he needs to be replaced. Which master does he serve? US or Filipino?

Well bro he is a soldier politician, expect him to enter politics when he retire.
He need to score brownie points to be notice and he doesn't serve the Filipino people, he put himself above that of national interest. Where can you find a lowly officer in the Chain of Command setting policy goal? its above his pay grade and he is retiring anyway, his current position is the best he can get so he is eyeing a new career in politics.
It says so much about our politics (and who truly runs our country) that he has not been publicly told by the government to STFU.
Who ever says stuff like "I believe in prayer" or "draw strength from heaven", you can safely ignore them
