Each individual country is responsible for its internet control, China is a clear example of that control and something any government could enforce if necessary to them.

China is already doing this and has a internet control system to better protect its national interests from foreign meddling. The success of China helping the greater world is dependent on each individual nation and their foreign policy towards China. China has proven time and time again, it's a builder of nations, not a destroyer, it doesn't share the same history to its peer adversaries.

And my point was, that point of yours isn't so important as well as an actual influential thing, that's worth removing the firewall for.

I think it's of much importance given the current global hegemony not being in China's favor yet, do not underestimate the power of the current hegemony's ability to misdirect. It has been doing this for a long time and has proven a very powerful psyop tool for mustering the masses opinion and justifying heinous crimes against humanity. Every effort should be taken, every precaution exhausted of which the think tanks in China would've done and planned for every eventuality.
