Thus the nuclear buildup between the 2 nations become a necessary evil, so to make waging any war - even small scale and conventional - bear a risk to snowball into all-out nuclear exchange, and drag the superpowers into it, so until both countries can come to terms with each other there's some relative peace.
For China, it is of necessity, for India is no friend of China, if not there won't be the border war back in the day. Question the logic if you may, but in life choosing allies is far more difficult than choosing friends, and between nations, there's no such thing as friendship, only alliance and partnership.

worse example in history was secret treaty or secret alliance in europe in 19th century,most of european leader went to war in 1914 with out realized the political cost and consequence.by the time it's over 4 empire cease to exist,million perished,set stage for next war.

Delft, the US has invested billions in the infrastructure in Afghanistan.
There are thousands of photos of US military personel with Provisional construction teams performing these task. The problem is that when many of these projects are turned over to the Afghans they ..well miss-manage the project.
I know. The main point regarding this article is the impression many people have that the US want a military presence to protect their economic and military interests. See also the remark by Kissinger in my thread On Kissinger. It needs to maintain enmity against Iran in Pakistan and India as well as Iraq and the ambassador shows that it is failing in all three countries. They also wants to be an intermediary between Pakistan and India and there too they are out of the loop.
As for the work performed by the Provisional construction teams it might have been interesting to the US(?) firms providing the machinery used it is clearly of no interest to the Afghans and so of no value for improving the view they have of the occupation forces. Those billions were wasted.
It is unlikely that the investment of China and Iran building railways in Afghanistan will be similarly wasted.

actually i think it was my post and if u look at the money US spent in this war over $ 2 trillion then few hundred million in aid is just pocket change
if US was serious they would have done alot more than that, the fact that they are unable to supply even 1-2 Squadrons of attack helos to Pakistan shows how commited US is in this war
