Protest is not a problem, problem is that if it's getting western media exposure & CIA/NED comes to exploit it , it happens due to local people collaborating with westerners or outsiders using obviously vpn or burner phone.

That's how the CIA operates. A legit protest happens, and then the CIA comes in, starts placing its local people as leaders of the protests and then shifts the protests' message from the issue they were protesting in the beginning to an anti-gov protest and trying to inflame tensions. Sprinkle a massive social media disinfo campaign and you are ready for CIA action

Sounds familiar? Same thing happened with Iran in their recent protests. And same thing the CIA is trying to do now on China.

For this specific situation, I dont see that much of a big CIA push or success except the usual bad child, Shanghai.

It's interesting that so many white people feel the need to throw in "import (western) mrna vaccines". The shame that China roundly beat them in controlling covid, plus developing safe, functional vaccines so quickly must be burning a hole in them

Zero Covid has been very painful socially and economically. But the problem is that if zero covid is fully lifted then there can potentially be about a million deaths in China. If you think I'm exaggerating. Then just look at what is happening on Taiwan. They have about 14000 deaths at the moment. The population of China is 60 times larger than Taiwan's (14000 x 60 = 840000) and Taiwan's healthcare system is much better than that of China's. Omicron is far less virulent compared to some of the earlier variants of the coronavirus. If it was Delta or any of the previous variants you could be looking at many times more deaths than with Omicron.

Beijing simply cannot really. Why do you think Li Qiang from Shanghai could go up the CCP promotion after horribly handled the covid situation? Why China in Q2 has 0.4% GDP growth y.o.y (-2.8% quarterly) just from locking Shanghai? Why Beijing not move Shanghai stock exchange or Tesla Giga Factory to Beijing? It's because Beijing cannot risk losing Shanghai as it is.

Hong Kong used to say the same thing. It didn't stop the CPC from cracking down on the rioters. Shanghai is no more important to China than other top tier cities within China. So don't exaggerate its importance.
