For now china international policy is based on vague desir...
Until or unless PRC develops a coherent view about international strategy that addresses wide spectrum of policy (economy, cooperation, balance of power, etc) we will continu to get what we have got...

Not sure what you mean. Can you give an example of where China's policy is vague and a counter-example of when another country did it "coherently"?

China's international policy is based on mutual respect and mutual benefit. Nothing vague and incoherent about that.

This policy objective fails whenever some counterparty, primarily in the west, are unable to accept this simple principle. Nothing other than capitulation will satisfy them and that does not conform to China's policy. And this is where things stand unless you have some other suggestion.

Mutual respect and benefit? Nice words but not really a policy. PRC say that because they want other country to see them as a good country.
It is like when PRC say they never meddle in other countries internal affairs. We know it is not true.

Why you suppose that counterparty should accept your policy? Just because you say your policy is based on mutual benefit doesn't mean that others will have to accept it. benefit does not mean the same thing for every country.

So? PRC also seek capitulation from some countries. US want china to capitulate, but that is not going to happen; good.
China also want some countries to accept its policy, but not going to happen. See?

Why mutual respect and mutual benefit is not a real policy? What is a real policy for you? What do you think is China international policy and how is it vague?

Why should anyone not accept mutual respect and mutual benefit other than to dominate? Just because benefits are not same for every country, why can't there be a common ground for mutual benefit?

China does not need anyone to accept mutual respect or mutual benefit. Just need to ignore or respond in kind when provoked. Compared to your country, When and how does China seek capitulation from some countries?

International Relation are governed by realism not idealism or optimism. Why should anyone accept something not in its interest?
US want North Korea without nuclear weapon, but not going to happen.
