J-11A(G?) also have those huge "wing" antennas on the engine fairings. Will be very interesting to read about engineering choices 20-30 years later, I guess.

I mean those ones. Yes, on a second check you're right, they're here since the very original flanker and I simply didn't pay attention.
For some reason(color maybe?) I thought they're new - or indeed because most newer flanker variants from either Russia or China did away with them.
