some new photos of J-15,J-11B and J-11BS...I am not sure whether the J-11's are for PLAAF or PLANAF. Don't think PLAAF received any new J-11B/BS in the past year...


Nice ... would be interesting to know, when these images were taken, since I was already "asking" myself if the J-11B is still produced or if the production line has been changed to J-15 and J-16, since we saw no new Flanker regiment since the second PLANAF-regiment.

Anyway very nice,

Why doesn't this J15 have IFR probe?

If you look at the last pic. (Number 605 = 6th batch No.5). It should be the order from a PLAAF regiment in North China.

Also another J-11B (#526). and it is believed to be the first J-11B with WS-10 delivered to CTFE.

Yes the second batch onwards of J11B used WS10 engines currently there is 6 Regiments of J11B/BS and 5 using WS10 which means 240 x WS10 are operating on J11B fighters
