Absolutely beautifull pix of a gorgeous airplane, no one should misconstrue my calling for the F-60 to be developed for the carrier and air forces to be a lack of confidence in the flanker and her present very real capability.

one thing you dont get a idea of with the Flankers is how massive these aircraft are when looking at them in pictures, sometimes its easy to think of them as same size as F16 Fighting Falcon, when infact they are huge! That is a both a advantage and a disadvantage

if you see a Flanker parked next to a F16 you will know what i mean!

No OVT on J-11, J-15, or J-20, say what you want, I bet they are dying to upgrade these birds, the US and Russia operate aircraft with OVT and you can bet that technology is high on the "wish list for Christmas", remember lads, it doesn't matter if you design it, buy it, "borrow it" from friends, keeping up with the Joneses is transcultural, we all have an innate need to do it.
