Until they start building WS10As in enough numbers to start retro-fitting existing planes, all WS10A equipped J11s should also have the new wide-angle holo HUD and be equipped with Chinese missiles.

I have read somewhere that all J-11Bs will be using the WS10A. Is that true?

Both the medium range the short range missiles are Russian, right?

Sorry if this sounds a bit nooby..

but those cockpits do not look very modern. I had read somewhere that new glass cockpits are being used on the newer planes. Are these from older batch or am i missing something??

Sorry again if i am completely wrong and those are the new cockpits.

Some of them are carrying Russian weapons so they are most likely Russian-made Flankers China bought.

Judging by the paint scheme, they are either the imported Su-27 or the J-11A built with the Russian-provided kits. Only the J-11B has the upgraded avionics. As someone else pointed out, the fact that they are armed with the Russian missiles also indicate they are more likely to be Su-27/J-11A. This is in contradiction with the claims by many Chinese news agencies stating that they are J-11Bs.
