Why would they? In 2016 the JDF confirmed the incident after a Japanese official leaked the news. I think you are confusing JDF with IAF.

The tweet refers to an incident in 2016 when two JSDF F-15s were locked on by PLANAF Su-30MK2s and had to release flares before retreating. The video is just an interview with one of the pilots involved in the incident.

Well, maybe to be in keeping with its stealthy design, they might make custom mini rocket pods that fit in the side weapons bays that they could bring out for zoomie fun.
