Ooops, you are right! I stand corrected. I would change it but the edit window has expired.

And now I see my mistake was even more careless than you pointed out. I had somehow misread Deino's original post as about a new WS-10 variant for the J-11BG, when it was actually about the J-16... AND I thought all the images in my subsequent post were of J-11BG, when only one of them is.

Ooooph!

Fortunately, regarding my observation on the engine nozzles, my two mistakes cancelled each out: the nozzles on the J-16 do appear shiny from a different angle.

Always great to see humility when people make mistakes though. Unlike most other forums I have noticed this place is very evidence-based and honest, with minor exceptions.
