@Deino, look at the wingtip pylons of this J-16. They are very rarely photographed carrying payload.
Thanks ... from the 40th Air Brigade.

Impressive profiles of Chinese Flankers ... from J-11 over J-15 to J-16.

99th Brigade at Korla Airbase. Not only did this start out as a J-7 brigade, it's also the first brigade to get a full complement of J-16s. Its treatment is completely unprecedented. Whatever India is doing, 99th Brigade is very grateful to them.

99th Brigade is usually at Hotan, they're probably over at Korla for training or exercises.
Supposedly they don't have a full complement of J-16s yet. Remember brigades have 32 aircraft composed of four 大队, I've read they receive new aircraft in batches of 大队 size so usually it takes four deliveries before the whole brigade is fully equipped. 99th was apparently the first to get a full complement and they got it all at once. Do you know of any other brigade that got this lucky? But wasn't the 7th AB at Wuhu not also a former J-7 unit?
