you must be new here LOL

you can rephrase it like what is the turning radius, the climb rate, engine T/W, radar range, ECM suite etc.. and obviously missile types.

Just asking who would win is not a realistic question.

A user named infochina was quite recently banned in another Forum for trolling. He/She started a thread in which he/she tried to play down J-11 and J-20 when compared to F-15J.

Oooooorrrrr, we could pretend we are grown-ups and say HI, to the new guy, welcome to Sino Defense, and recognise that we can ask those questions and it isn't necessarily trolling, its prolly the only thing that matters to any fighter pilot, is my bird good enough to WIN? Not advocating a revolt here, or any disrespect to our great moderators or other posters, or not following the rules, just behaving like gentlemen.......and then if the new Guy gets cranked up and rude, then we can throw the rule book at him and banish him to the netherworld. Just the cranky old free speech dude here, really guys, rant off and back on topic???? any way gentlemen, any news or preliminary reports on our downed bird, we find out they are very experience pilots, could have been a check-ride gone wrong--------funny, but true brat story here, the only real "brain surgeon" for real dudes, but he will remain nameless to protect his good name, owned a Cessna 310 and a gorgeous Christan Eagle two holer, unlimited aerobatic biplane,,, and it was gorgeous. Anyway shows up at Klem's where I worked with a collapsed main gear and dinged up lower left wing, I was on the night shift and I say to Klem, well what happened to Dr. H----s bird. Turns out he and another hot dog pilot where up doing some aerobatics and shaking off the fuzzballs, one of them turned short final and told the other one to "take it", long story short "nobody" was flying the plane, there is a moral here, the chain of command should be very clear, and when you say, its your airplane, might want to wait for a response.....

Oh yeah, Hi New Guy, welcome to Sino Defense! Brat sorry Kwai, I know you're not gonna take this wrong, thats why I responded to your post. Hang in there guys spring is on the way????

no worries Brat... I have a thick skin..besides I'm old and grumpy and have witnessed my fair share of 'this vs that' comparo discussions that quickly lead the discussion to crash and burn shortly afterwards.

Oh you made a mistake, I started a thread J-10/11 comparison between F-15 (not J-20), You can not distort it . Because of the recent encounters between the two countries air force China and Japan

Well... lets look at it this way. There is no way anyone could know, even the seniors and moderators in this forum, and all the info you will be receiving is just based on what we read online or from some patriotic chanting of people of different nations.

Unless you, yourself is a pilot and flew both type of aircrafts, then you could safely say which is better than the other... otherwise, it is just asking different people to start hammering each other and with patriotic chantings, retorts and many invalid or otherwise nonsense attachments of brouchure from manufacturers... and claiming of what chief designers of each manufacturers had said.

The other way to know which aircraft is superior, is to pit them against each other... and frankly speaking, I am hoping that it will not come to that (call me old or what), although I am a military fan, I am no fan of war and killing.

Yeah I too saw a similar discussion in another forum that started off harmless then plunged into nationalist drivel by the one who started the discussion when anyone would say anything against the F-15.

What is safe to say is that Flankers in general are more maneuverable than F-15s , considering figures like Pugachev's Cobra which F-15s cannot perform (and F-22s can ) . On the other hand F-15s generally had better avionics , but I'm not sure this is the case when comparing J-11B vs F-15J .

Photos of F-15J cockpit show the avionics are not better to what you see on an original Su-27.

I don't know about cockipt ,but F-15Js from 80ies had AN/APG-63 , later upgraded to AN/APG-63(V)1 in 90ies . Both radars are better (especially second ) then original N001 radar on Su-27 . But , as I said , that was then , and now we should compare J-11B vs F-15J Kai which is beyond my ability ;)
