My GOD!!! Has China military aviation go crazy?

J-15S, J-16, Y-9, Y-20, J-31, JL-15 and not to mention uncountable Y-8XX projects??? How many projects they are running????
China uses to boast about its mega infrastructure civil engineering projects, looks like the military are emulating that.

Probably some J-18 STOVL will pop out later. HAHAHA..

Congrat China for J-15S project. Once again , this J-15S proves WS-10A is serving China military aviation very well. Now we have seen 2 important project of J-16 and J-15S first prototypes running with domestic WS-10A instead of usual AL-31 engines.
This clearly shows WS-10A engine is very mature and opposite to what many western analyst of China not having a single domestic modern turbofan serving the military and have problem manufacture it.
But this also comfirm my analysis Chengdu AVIC has big trouble obtaining WS-10A for its own project like J-10A and J-10B. You can all see, J-10A is only able to continue in serial production because they turn their engine source to Russia instead of Shenyang Liming.

Looks like Shenyang Liming is giving all kind of excuse to derail any of Chengdu projects including the J-10B which until now has not enter any operation. J-20 able to obtain some WS-10G, probably due to some very high level intervention to keep this top 5th gen project alive.

We can see all Shenyang project, be it J-11B, J-11BS, J-15, J-15S, J-16 have totally not a single problem of obtaining WS-10A engines. Except the J-31 which uses another different engines.

IMO I think that's a SM and not a J-15S since it features the standard Russian wing-tip pylons (even if the J-16 has them too ??? ) and IMO it looks like having a long sting and it has the standard wings.

Waiting for more ... on the other side the primer colour is different !

There are reasons why J-10 project is still using AL-31FN. Please look into WS-10A history before saying something as like "Chengdu AVIC has big trouble obtaining WS-10A".

I did look and that is the conclusion. If you are so convinced the very reason why J-10A and J-10B so far has not getting any WS-10A engines for their projects besides prototypes while Shenyang projects has so many of them including operational jets running WS-10A freely, feel free to correct me.

WS10A is a proven platform and currently 4 x Flanker Regiments are using it which makes almost 200 engines and no engine incident

Also I believe WS13 is in some sort of production, only reason JF17 Block II is not using it is because PAF needs them badly without any delay

Could be the story or maybe we see a miracle and the slight delay in the Block II is due to all new JF17 receiving WS13 that be awesome

From WS10 powered existing J11 to new J16, J15, SAC's role in babysitting WS10 to maturity is a major contribution to China's engine development. I think that alone makes SAC still easily the top dog in China for now.
