DF-15C??
- In spring 2001, the brigade was selected to be the first to receive "in a few years" the new DF-31A
- From 2001 to 2003, the brigade sent 35 officers to go to research institutes and production units to learn how to operate the missile
- Early 2003, the first launch simulators were in place
- End of 2007, the first missiles reached the base
- June 24, 2008 at 17:50, the first successful launch in operational condition
- at 13min 56s, on the screen of a simulator, there is a sequence flight of the missile, in which we see the expressions "releasing of speed decoys" and "reentry decoys releasing" thus confirming that the ICBM has at least two types of decoys
Report dating from the 20 June 2009 which tells the story of 2A first brigade which received the DF-31A:

It's a common knowledge that all modern ICBMs are carrying penaids, I have yet to seen anyone who claims otherwise.
This is years old pic, but could someone translate what it says?
- If PRC has thousands of warheads, why are they hiding them? Hiding them does not help deterrence and since PRC is not planning to first strike anyone...
- PRC insist they have smallest arsenal among the P5 nations. I don't see any reason to doubt their word.
- Pentagon says the same, and they certainly have no reason to hide any information about PRC nukes. Thousands of PRC nukes would be jackpot for pentagon.
Is there any common sense argument favoring the claim that PRC has more nukes than they tell?
