Chengdu next gen combat aircraft (?J-36) thread

This is possibly just pure coincidence, but it seems that Wang Haifeng (the chief designer of the J-36) might have actually taught at Purdue University in Indiana.

He has a webpage on the university's website:

If I were a white dude who couldn't tell the difference between Asians, i'd say YES.

Edit: BTW Comrade Chief Designer seems to have put some effort into his ID photo.

Even with WS-15 engines, I think it would still qualify as a sixth gen aircraft.

Given that B-21 is seen as a 6th gen, yeah of course.
