BRICS & New World Order Thread

Bro instead of demographic dividend it had become an economic bane on their resources that is the MAIN REASON for their irrelevancy, nobody want to take human import from India as they plan to export themselves out of poverty.
You are right that they are exporting their people, that is why they always stress easier work visa application for Indians, when signing trade treaty with other countries.
This is a topic that is rarely mentioned, and apparently it was one of the big issues why India didn't join RCEP, because the other countries didn't want an explosion of Indian workers in their country (see Singapore). I don't think China asks for these conditions when signing any bilateral or multilateral agreements. China is mostly interested in visa free travel reciprocity agreements, not work/immigration visas agreements.

This issue gives me more insight into Xi's famous offhand remark "中国一不输出革命,二不输出饥饿和贫困,三不去折腾你们"

Preventing Chinese hegemony in expanded BRICS

India seeks genuine multilateralism. The diminishing of Russian power has been detrimental to Indian objectives.

Not sure what Modi was offered in the white house, but he sure sent the marching orders to the elites when he returned. I have never seen an article on BRICS that is this brazen.
Lol what. India cannot veto incoming member proposals to begin with. Control in the SCO isnt based on equal rules but on might makes right.

And every single country in SCO sided against India during the last meeting, because India has nothing in terms of security, tech or economic might that compared to even Russia, let alone China.

So they don't have any influence other than for their own country, they can prevent new SCO initiatives from being applied only locally in India.

At this point, the only reason to not expel India is in order not to unnecessarily provoke their ego when India already doesn't have any effect on the organization.

Not sure whether India can veto SCO membership but India has more to say in the BRICS membership. The Indian article I posted basically spelt out India's plan to deny a large increase in BRICS membership because India doesn't want a smaller voice in the organization and India fears the new members will be more friendly towards China since China is the economic juggernaut in the organization.

Rumors suggest India succeeded in their goal to limit BRICS new membership down to only five new countries. China and Russia are both pretty pissed about India's recent moves.

India is one of the most water stressed nations on earth. India absolutely depends on water flowing from the Tibetan plateau.
You have fallen for Indian propaganda on the water issue. Over 90% (even 95% or more?) of the water flowing Brahmaputra River comes from rainfall within Indian territory. China diverting or damming the Yarlung Tsangpo would barely make a dent in India's water resource downstream.

If anything, China building a dam on the Yarlung Tsangpo would actually help solve India's annual flooding downstream. Just so you know India's water stressed parts aren't close to this river.

Because it's easy to blame China for their incompetency, instead of building reservoir to store those water. IF the elite suffer a major water crisis then you will see action being taken ASAP.
