US has put their ICBM targeting hundreds of strategic sites in China since 1960s, and now is 2024 so you can just accept wholly their reported location sites of fixed Chinese missile sites and strategic sites, also because you probably can't get any similar report elsewhere.

Ex-Chinese defense minister was detained for corruptions in accepting bribes and giving out bribes, breached of party discipline etc.

I heard that the US report on missile site and the detained of ex-Chinese defense Minister cause uproar in China. Is it true?

What kind of uprour in China in response to US reports and news reporting?

I dunno. I think it is Chinese Netizen uproar. I get that info from one of Youtube Channel. So I want a confirmation in here. As SDF has more valid info about China than anything that I can get from outside (including some youtube channel).

I never trust Youtube channels. They are full of misinformation and political bias. I checked Chinese media often I don't think there is any uproar that is note worthy.

Yes, there were discussion related to the chief of PLA rocket forces coonected rumour of water in nuclear missiles but this is largely disapproved in related thread in our forum here.

Essenetially there was no information on the arrest of these 2 generals. Total info blackout of the detaintion caused speculations of all kinds in Western media, and subsequently youtubers cashed in to make money by posting videos with eye catching speculations and rumours of all kinds so that everyone watches their videos. And this was also a very good opportunit for politically bias youtubers as well.

Chinese netizen uprours? Just a lot of rumour discussion on why they were detained, and these rumours were just rumours not worthy of dicussion as they have suppoting evidence.

We only get the confirmation and the charges against them only just a few weeks ago from official PLA spokes persons.

This is a video of the rumor. The son of the rocket force general sold state secrets to the US while he was in college in the US. The US actually publicly published some of the information identifying every base , repo, missle types, manufacturing etc. Also it is rumor that the ex- foriegn minister's mistress was a british m6 spie.

Yes, these were part of the charges against these generals as disclosed by the PLA spokes persons And I think this particular video was posted after the PLA spokes person had made the disclosures.

Rumour of the third person, i.e. the Foreign Minister's mistress was reported many months ago on news media. Bloomberg.com speculated the FM was dead but there was no news at all from Chinese media.

This youtube is actually the source of rumor that I get, so I want to ask for confirmation in here.

A map of dependent territories and their sovereign states. Look at CX, Christmas Island currently administered by Australia, this seems like a nice place for China to build a foreign military base after kicking out the Aussies of course. Apparently the largest ethnic group there is already Chinese. The natural geography doesn't seem too good, but it's location seems pretty good able to guard the Sunda strait.

I'm thinking this land would be useful to China when the US has been kicked out of East Asia but they still control the straits of Malacca. Any thoughts on my fantasies, are there other territories on this map which would be even more valuable, excluding Northern Mariana Islands and Guam of course.

How exactly does an air-launched ballistic missile work? Does it go up into space after launched from an aircraft?

Plane launch it climbing at high angle of attack close to their flight ceiling. Basically it starts off with already some speed and altitude gained.
