Probably the last resort, but cannot count on it.
If something is capable enough to produce an impeccably timed water column to deflect an incoming guided missile, said something is objectively more than capable of either a direct hit, or at least good positioning for a proximity fuse to work.
So no, "water flak CIWS" is not really a thing. And has never been, for that matter. It's quite a imaginative idea though...
Hi everyone, hope I'm on the right thread for this. From commercial imagery (google maps) of the Changzhou international airport (H-6 stationed there) it is visible what seems to be an old aircraft which I'm not able to identify. Looks a bit like an overly shortened H-6 and it's parked in the westernmost shelters. Any clue? Thanks in advance.
