About India.. The U.S is friend with India on paper but in reality the U.S don't want a multipolar world (which will happen in a few decades).. U.S want the U.S dollar to be used as a dominant currency for a long long time. When India becomes a big player in the multipolar, that will diminish the U.S dollar dominance and one of the concerning things. U.S did that to Japan back in the 1970s.

Basically it is not about democracy. It is about the currency.
India is a divided Country with a typical comprador elite.
Is not like they are a unified country under a solid bureocracy like China.
US is betting in that they will be able to control India much better, if not directly indirectly

Entertainment companies are struggling in ways nobody anticipated just a few years ago.
The TV business also hit a wall in 2023. After years of steady growth, the number of scripted series has started shrinking.

Well the quote ‘go woke, go broke’ does have meaning, I mean most people don’t like this sort of rubbish and if the USA thinks they can force this whole alphabet madness on the world without repercussions, then they have another thing coming (no offense intended but as a parent, I refuse to allow them to be tainted by this stuff ever), I mean really the number does speak for itself and this how political side of things makes the current entertainment so toxic that not even China has patience with this kind of garbage (seriously do they think trying to brainwash Chinese to turn on there government in favor of Taiwan is going to sit well with the average Chinese person that is already well versed in history on average). Kinda makes it such that if China really is pulling the whole opium war thing with the fentanyl on the USA (I know it’s bullcrap but the whole 4D chess thinking from the USA makes it black comedy when one thinks about how what goes around comes around), then they kinda asked for it from all the blasted trouble the USA has caused China for decades and when people really do think on it a bit more, that quite frankly explains why most nations don’t give a crap about the average US citizen dying from this contagion of drugs due to how avoidable such a crisis it really is if they spent the money in this instead of Elensky

The US game is also laying off a lot of workers. Studios include EA, Sony, Microsoft, Riot, Unity. Almost 8000 this year alone.

Following the October 7 attack, Israel also imposed tough restrictions on the movement of Palestinian workers from the West Bank into the country. The move hit the construction sector, causing labour shortages that became an additional drag on economic growth, the bureau said.

The war has triggered a steep increase in government spending, which rose 88% in the three months after the outbreak of war compared with the preceding quarter. Consumers, meanwhile, were spending 27% less.

Imports of goods and services fell 42%, the report said, while exports dropped 18%.
Nearly 500,000 citizens left Israel by December 2023, out of a total population of 9 million.
The shipping industry’s reaction to the Houthi initiative suggests that Israel was not feeling its full effects for all of the fourth quarter. So unless there is a miraculous turn of events in early 2024 (and we have yet to see one), an additional GDP decline for the first quarter is baked in due to Israel bearing the full impact of the Houthi shipping strangulation.

The longer the war goes on, the more permanent the damage to the productive capacity of the economy becomes.

Dam according to wiki there are about 7.03 million jews in Israel, seeing half a million flee must really hurt the economy.
That's like 7~8% of the jewish population. Good thing westerners will foot the bill :p
