The “pay-to-breathe” economy in India has come to the United States.

Soon we will have Apple MacAIR Plus, now with a $200 disposable filter that must be replaced at an Apple store.

Seems like the US is putting some big money behind reshoring crane manufacturing capability? Interesting to see if they are able to do anything with this given how China dominates this particular market?

They can pull a India and buy second hand cranes for Great Britain that are originally made in China too.

Ask yourself this question: how was China able to dominate this particular market, and why did the U.S. even allowed Chinese crane manufacturers to build cranes for U.S. ports without considering the RIDICULOUS AND BOLD FACED LIE of THE NEVER ENDING "NATIONAL SECURITY" RISKS?

COST, COSTS, COSTS was the main reason and also the technical ability as well as QUALITY of Chinese crane manufacturers are the reason why they were utilized and were used until this fictitious "CHINA THREAT THEORY" has taken over the Washington D.C. blob and the increasingly insecure and fractious American public.

Unless COSTS can be lowered somehow there's NO WAY YOUR COUNTRY can make a comeback or even build a competitive advantage over what the Chinese offer. Have Indian tech, know-how and labour par excellence can build it for your country then maybe. But such Indian prowess doesn't yet exist perhaps in the next 10 years, that may happen.

About India.. The U.S is friend with India on paper but in reality the U.S don't want a multipolar world (which will happen in a few decades).. U.S want the U.S dollar to be used as a dominant currency for a long long time. When India becomes a big player in the multipolar, that will diminish the U.S dollar dominance and one of the concerning things. U.S did that to Japan back in the 1970s.

Basically it is not about democracy. It is about the currency.
