They sure can do a lot of damage to particle board and sheet metal!
Particularly when it is so well defended as that monstrosity was...and had so much electronic counter measures going.

As I say...not hard to sink a defenseless, unpowered, sheet metal and particle board hulk.

Hehehe...Popeye, given that last pic in the Iranian naval exercises against the model US Aircraft carrier...it still looks like they could not sink it. LOL!
Imagine now, all of that punishment against an actual carrier, with the carrier actually built (and built well) to take that punishment, and condition Zebra set.
The US itself knows. It tried for several days to sink the older super carrier USS America in a SINKEX...firing missiles, bombs, gunfire, torpedoes, etc. at it. In the end, as I understand it, they had to send explosive ordinance people onboard the ship and rig it up internally to sink it.

I have not been following the MiG-29K development well. I wonder how the take off weight of this aircraft over the ski ramp compares with a take off from a runway on land, in view of discussions based on opinions and not on facts about the J-15 on CV-16.
That's pretty impressive, especially without a crew fighting to keep her afloat.
