Lol China's WWII situation is totally different from israel-Gaza conflict.

Any Chinese person with moral conscience who witnesses the tragedy in Gaza would feel profound sympathy, as it inevitably evokes memories of the atrocities committed by the Japanese against the Chinese during World War II.

AFAIK J-7s and J-8s have been retired as fighters. JJ-7 (which is technically a different aircraft) is only used as trainer, and there may be two brigades of the recon variant of J-8.

Actually, there seem to be both jj7 and j7E/G still serving in training brigades. And at least one non training j7g unit still considered to be active. (52nd brigade) at least that seem to have been the consensus a year ago. I don't know if there have been news since or some new satellite images of the base suggesting otherwise.
